The Anatomy of a Full-Service Pool Visit: Exactly What Your Tech Does From the Moment They Walk Through the Gate
Ever wonder what actually happens when your technician steps into your backyard? Proper pool care is far more than skim-and-go skimming. At Universal Pool Service, our full-service visit is a systematic, multi-point process designed to keep your oasis crystal clear, safe, and running efficiently year-round. Here is exactly what your expert from our trusted pool maintenance company in Goodyear does from the moment they walk through your gate. Call today.
Water Chemistry Testing & Chemical Balancing
The moment your tech arrives, the priority is water safety. Your technician pulls a fresh water sample to test chlorine, pH, alkalinity, and cyanuric acid levels. Desert heat rapidly depletes sanitizer, so your tech precisely balances chemicals—adding liquid chlorine, muriatic acid, or tabs as needed—to protect your pool’s surface, prevent algae growth, and ensure your water is completely safe for swimming.
Physical Cleaning & Debris Removal
Next, your tech tackles the physical upkeep. Using professional-grade equipment, they skim leaves and surface debris, brush the walls, tile lines, and steps, and vacuum the bottom to prevent staining and buildup. For neglected, heavy-debris situations, your technician assesses whether your basin needs a comprehensive pool clean out to restore circulation and clarity.
Equipment System Inspection & Maintenance
Before leaving, your tech steps pad-side to inspect your filtration system. They empty all skimmer and pump strainer baskets, inspect valves, check system pressure, and backwash sand or D.E. filters when needed. Catching minor equipment issues early prevents costly downtime and keeps your entire setup operating at peak energy efficiency.
